The imbalance is striking and worth owning: Air Transat alone accounts for more than 99% of the packages we track. Sunwing covers the most destinations but with very few packages on each. Broadening Air Canada Vacations and Sunwing coverage is our priority.
On destinations, two carry most of the volume: Cancún and the Riviera Maya with 35,936 packages, and Punta Cana with 25,216. Then come Puerto Plata (349), Cartagena (31), Guadeloupe (28) and Montego Bay (28). The rest is counted in single digits.
How we decide a drop is real
A struck-through price proves nothing. A drop only means something compared to the same package's own history: same hotel, same departure airport, same length, same occupancy.
- We record prices daily and keep every observation with its timestamp.
- A drop is assessed against the package's reference window, not against a price advertised by the seller.
- We compare at identical occupancy: the most frequent source of error in package comparisons.
- Below a drop threshold, we send nothing. An alert for a 3% discount is noise.
What we do not cover yet
Three limits deserve to be stated plainly, because they can affect what you receive.
- Barbados and Aruba are configured in our collectors but return no packages to date. If you are looking at those destinations, we cannot help you yet.
- Guadeloupe is only tracked departing Montreal, with 28 packages and a three-week departure window. That is too thin for reliable alerts.
- Our price history is kept for a limited time. We can detect a recent drop; we do not claim to know what the price was a year ago.

Why publish your blind spots?
Because someone who subscribes for Barbados and never receives anything is a lost user, and rightly so. Better they know up front.
Do the prices shown include taxes?
Yes, we record the total price advertised by the tour operator, taxes included, at the occupancy it is actually calculated for.
How often are prices updated?
Collection runs daily. A price shown on the site reflects the latest reading for that package, not an estimate.
Do you sell the packages?
No. We track prices and send you to the tour operator to book. We are neither an agency nor a reseller.
